blush Makeup Lessons

Make-up tips from the trade will show you how to create a flawless look for any occasion.

Blush offers make-up lessons in your own home or office with tips from the trade, colour analysis and a guide to application.

Make-up lessons come in two stages, beginners and advanced, however we recommend that if you are new to Blush you start with the beginners lesson to ensure you're on the right track.

Beginners make-up lesson

This lesson is suitable for those who wear very little make-up already and need to learn the basics of make-up application, or are new to Blush.

Advanced make-up lesson

This lesson goes into greater detail and shows you how to take day wear make-up into evening wear and covers the different techniques of shading, colour choices and if you wish, false eyelash application.

Workshops for Hair Blow drying techniques and Make-up Lessons

Blush is now offering make-up workshops on a monthly basis where you will get the chance to try out some of the latest products on the market and have a group make-up lesson at intermediate level, taking a day look into the evening. Classes will hold a maximum of 10 at a time and will be in two time slots from 11-1 and 2-4pm. Blow drying lessons will also be available at an additional cost so you could book into both and have a styling day.

Our workshops last around 2 hours, starting off with a demo lesson, you then get to try out new products on the market, and any problem areas you would like to concentrate on. The workshops are less structured than a personal lesson and can hold up to 10 people in a class.

Personal makeup lesson for (1-2 people)

- The ultimate makeup lesson, focusing on just you, or you and a friend.

Group lessons (3-10 people)

- This is a really fun way of working and you will be amazed at what you can achieve yourself on each other when you know how. Working in pairs you all get to experience the lesson and will discover how different looks work for different people.

Details of lessons:

The Novice 11 - 15 yrs

This is something she should have before the beginners class if she's new to makeup and has never worn makeup before or is just wearing it badly! Here you will learn much about the beginners class with a simpler, younger element to it, looking at trends of the time, fun colours as well as natural looking makeup, and more importantly what not to wear!

The Beginner 16 + yrs

Not just aimed at teenagers and young women, but anyone who has little experience of makeup or believes they are on the wrong track. We do recommend anyone new to Blush starts with a beginners class, as much of the basics of makeup application will be learnt here, along with getting the right foundation and day wear makeup. Evening wear makeup is only lightly covered in this class if requested

The Advanced Class

Aimed at anyone who has experienced the beginner's class and feels ready to move on to achieve a few evening looks, false eyelash application, contouring and any particular makeup that you would like to know how to do for a special occasion.

**The Bridal makeup lesson
